Isn't that always the way? You wait around for months for news of a new games and then hey presto - six come along at once. EA's CEO Andrew Wilson teased the fact that the company would reveal a "major new game" during a financial results call on Tuesday (viaSeekingAlpha). He also revealed that the game was in development at a "flagship developer," and would be powered by Frostbite 3 - the same engine that DICE developed to run Battlefield 4. It's being flagged for release later this year. Meanwhile, Spike TV's Geoff Keighley revealed yesterday that the channel's live coverage of E3 would include the reveal of no less than six new games from EA. Although there are no confirmed details on any of the games at present, let's do a little detective work. It's probably safe to assume that one of those titles is Mass Effect 4, which we know to be in development at Bioware Montreal and has previously been pegged for a late 2014 release. Another of the six could be Visceral's new Star Wars game, which is in development with former Naughty Dog creative director Amy Hennig at the helm but has yet to receive a formal announcement. EA has confirmed that there will be no new Need for Speed this year, so we can count that out. The rest, well, we'll just have to wait and see. Source TotalXbox.
