E72 error

HI No usb plugged in. when the console boots I get the xbox logo and green lights, but then it goes into e72 error

 

have u tried to boot without the hdd plugged in

 

Yes everything is unplugged except for power and AV cables

I have a copy of the nand on my laptop before I tried to update it, is there any way I can put it back on how it was

 

it mite mean you have a bad nand flash then so try reflashing the back with the backup you made before you flashed this 1

 

how do I flash back. I can load simple nand flasher 360 on my xbox

I mean I cant load any programs on my 360

 

put the update.bin on the root of the usb and boot into xell and it should do the rest its self

 

I don't have update.bin. I have a flash.dmp file

 

if you have it still use your original nand and cpu key and create an image using jrunner or xebuild

 

I have a CD that came with my RGH but I have no idea how to use it or what to do with it.

I have put that back up file on USB and booted Xell but all it does it say looking for files on local media then keeps flashing up saying no answer

That did not work either as I can get on xbox to load XEXmenu etc.

don't suppose you fix them do you

 

ignore that part and follow from where he uses xebuild

 

you should have a back up called flashdmp if so put that on a usb and run it.

 

rename your flashdmp.bin to updflash.bin and put it on root of usb and boot xell let it do its thing and shut down when prompted...add my skype 4 help - steveleedale2014

 

thanks guys I finally got it back to how it was, I still cant update to the newest dash tho. it keeps red ringing me when its finished, oh well least its back working tho

Note: that if there is an odd issue going on with your console's hardware, and it causes failure using this method , you may or may not be able to recover as you did via xell, you may need hardware flasher (nand-x etc) to recover it with your backup
