Dynasty Warriors 8 Editor- Xbox 360 Mod Tool

So I am struggling on how to use this editor and create a save file for it. Could someone explain to me how to properly mod my DW8 file to unlock all characters, and max everything?

 

Load the full CON (Save)...not the file within the CON

The editor does not create a save, it modifies a save you already have that was created by the game that load in the editor. the rest is self explanatory -- if you have trouble after loading the save I can walk you through that as well, meanwhile you need a DW8 save from your system that was created from/by the game

you said load the full con save it still doesnt work maybe it's my version of the game when i open up my save in horizon it says "Dynasty Warriors 8 (Tc)"

It might be your version. Upload your save please with the stats of your money, fame, weapon/building materials, if you don't mind and I may be able to add that version into it. (what region are you)?

Your's says TW and the Other user said TC...are they the same versions?
either way thanks, I'll see about having the editor to support other versions.

 

his region is asia ntsc-jp cause the game is DW8 TC (traditional chinese)

 

So I assume that the TW is the Taiwanese version?...

 

my save file is indeed TW, but when I look it up on my 360 it says Dynasty Warriors 8(Tc)

 

I've added Game ID: 4B5607E5 (NTSC) and 4B5607E6 (TC) support to the editor -- it will be available in the next upcoming update.

 

do you know when the next update will be? or no telling yet?

maybe that's why its giving me data corruption when I load the save

what version of the editor are you using on that save? That version is already in the editor. Please upload your save.

 

I am using the latest version
what I do is:
1. get save directly from xbox using ftp (flashFXP)
2. make 2 copies for backup
3. open file using the editor
4. modify then save (max gold, fame, etc. using the max all button)
5. rehash and resign using package manager by 360rev
6. move the modded save to the xbox by ftp

when I load the game it says the save is corrupted

now with this save, it has been modded using the other editor also found here and I only maxed out misc and health of the unlocked characters. Unfortunately when playing story mode the stats of the other characters on the same clan is set back to defaults when saving after a campaign.
