DriveClub will launch in late September, according to online retailer Amazon. Amazon US is listing the game for Tuesday, September 30, while pre-order customers have reportedly been told to expect delivery in early October, according to one NeoGAF user. The email, which suggests that the game will be delivered between October 3 and October 7, alleges that the new release date was issued by Sony. Sony is yet to comment on the rumours, although a spokesperson recently said that the game has gone "back to the drawing board" and wouldn't be shipped until it was great. The game had been touted for an early 2014 launch after being delayed a month before the release of the PS4. A deleted Evolution Studios Twitter post suggested the game would launch on 9/4/14, pointing towards an April or September release depending on the date format. DriveClub will be released at retail, although a free edition with reduced content will be available for PS Plus subscribers. Source Digital Spy.
