Thank you for sharing this. I'm just getting back in to Diablo again and I'm in need of a fire being lit under the ass of my stats and all. lol Thank you
Never tried this before... here goes nothing... Edit: Well, either I'm an idiot! or this save editor does not work! This is what I did --- I loaded my Xbox 360 Diablo 3 save file onto a USB drive. I put the USB drive into my PC and opened the Diablo 3 Save Editor. When I clicked the File>Load, I went to the files on the USB drive, but there were no files listed. How can I import a file from the USB drive if the Diablo 3 Save Editor can't recognize the file? Ummm... any tips, tricks, helpful hints that anyone can bestow upon me? I looked through a lot of these pages (clearly not all 186 of them), but I couldn't find anything that clearly spelled it out. Thanks in advance. :i-m_so_happy:
Lol, ShadowHands... I have no idea how to do that. You're talking about my Xbox 360 save file, right? I can't see that file using Windows Explorer on my PC nor can I see it in the Diablo 3 Save Editor. Just for clarification, though, I can see the Diablo 3 save file on the USB drive using the Horizon interface. But, that's as far as I got. I couldn't figure out how to manipulate the file from there or how to transfer it to the Diablo 3 Save Editor.
If using horizon use this video tut to get save out. Spoiler https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HizceLrcMAc
@ ShadowHands I watched the video. I get it, but there is still no explanation on how to transfer/import the Xbox 360 save file from the USB drive to the Diablo 3 Save Editor. There's still a step missing. Right? I can see the Xbox 360 save file using Horizon, but I can't import that Xbox 360 save file into the Diablo 3 Save Editor. What am I missing? Surely I'm not the only idiot of 186 pages who can't figure this out??? I've been playing with this for hours and hours. :wallbash: EDIT: Okay, don't ask me how, but I finally got it to work. They say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well, yeah, that's exactly what I did here and somehow it worked. BTW... the instructions in the first page are Fecal Leaking!!! Someone needs to learn how to give instructions are though the target audience has not done anything like this before!!! I would love to write out some instructions here to guide those who, like me, had never done anything like this before, but because it took me 100+ attempts, I lost track of everything I was doing. Sorry folks, I can't possibly help with that regard. Yeah, keep reading!!!! So, when it finally worked, and I was able to see my save in the Diablo 3 Save Editor, I didn't want to get too crazy with it (maxing all stats and such), so I just increased a few stats by a few points, made a note of which ones, and saved it. I loaded the USB back in the Xbox 360, moved the save file to my HDD, and played the game hoping for the best. WRONGO!!! I got a CORRUPTED FILE save message and the hero (edited ever so slightly) was GONE!!!!!! I blame nobody but myself for thinking this would be something fun to do with Diablo 3. And, yes, I know... there is a CLEAR WARNING on the front page that says DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK, but good damn... what is the rate of corruption if my first try was 100% FAIL~!!!???
