EA has announced that all further development of Battlefield 4 is to cease due to the ongoing issues with the games performance.
Since Battlefield 4 launched last month it has been plagued with numerous issues that Dice seem to be having trouble patching.
The latest DLC " China Rising" has also been fraught with problems causing connection issues on both next gen consoles PS4 and Xbox One.

Dice thanked their fans for their continued support: " First, we want to thank the fans out there that are playing and supporting us with Battlefield 4"

Then it was announced that there will be no further development on the game or expansion packs until the game is 100% fixed. The spokesman said: " We know we still have a ways to go with fixing the game — it is absolutely our No. 1 priority. The team at DICE is working non-stop to update the game. Since Battlefield 4 China Rising expansion pack was already in the final stages of development by the time issues began with Battlefield 4, we decided to fulfill our promise to deliver it this week, but we're not moving onto future projects or expansions until we sort out all the issues with Battlefield 4. We know many of our players are frustrated, and we feel their pain. We will not stop until this is right."

Battlefield has had it's fair share of issues since day one, hopefully Dice will come up with a fix sooner rather than later.
