Bungie has put a date on Destiny’s next big challenge. The hard mode version of the King’s Fall raid will go live next week, on Friday 23rd October at 10am PST / 6pm BST.
“If you’ve managed to slay the Taken King aboard his own fortress, you’re off to a good start, but your fight is far from finished,” said Deej in the Bungie Weekly Update. “That battle is about to get a lot harder. Originally, we’d planned to introduce King’s Fall Hard mode on October 30th, but the Raid team is ready to go, and we’ve decided to launch a little bit early.”
“Right about now, some of you are wondering what you can do to prepare. We won’t give you hints, but we’ll plot the difficulty incline. Recommended Light for Hard Mode is 300 – 320. The loot that will drop will be between 310 – 320. Gear up and mark your calendars.”
Beyond that, the Weekly Update had loads of notable bits and bobs to share; Trials of Osiris, the 3v3 PvP event, has been postponed thanks to the discovery of a nasty Hunter exploit that lets plays spam Supers; Nightfall rewards are gonna get better (thank god); and 'seriously we won’t be flogging consumables for real cash, honest'.
