    Due to technical issues, the latest patch for Destiny has been postponed to a later date, Bungie has announced.

    In a post on the studio's official Twitter account, the developer explained

    Update 1.2.0 paves the way for the upcoming expansion Destiny: House of Wolves, so the delay of its launch could affect its May 19 release. That said, Bungie is currently hard at work to remedy the patch issues and has not announced any sort of formal delay for the expansion itself.

    "I've spoken with the finest minds at Bungie about Update 1.2.0 just moments ago," community manager DeeJ explained in a forum post. "They're working to correct a late-breaking technical issue that would have impacted the way the game launches for a large portion of you. Progress is being made."
