[ DARK SOULS II save progress ][Final][Xbox 360 gamesave]

Has anyone encountered this issue?

I have a save file that I want to experiment with but I dont want to corrupt it. I extract it and put it on my desktop to transfer to another usb. When I put that usb in and try to load the save file it says "cannot load blah blah blah"
