Sony confirm DDOS attack after Lizard Squad claim PSN ‘take down’ affecting PS4 and PS3 but it doesn’t look like they are going to stop there. Several reports have been emerging that they are going to be targeting Microsoft on Christmas Day. With the latest rumours doing the rounds on the Internet and still no word from Microsoft is this Christmas attack on Xbox Live pure speculation or are Microsoft working tirelessly to make sure this doesn’t ruin their next gen image any further? It is no secret that Microsoft has been left in the shadows of PS4 but is this the final straw for Microsoft? Will Live now become extinct? No.Here are some facts to ease your mind. Lizard Squad has been attacking places like Xbox Live and PSN for a while now, and currently right now, they have shut down PSN twice and now threatening to do it to Xbox Live forever. One thing is for sure, they are definitely confident of themselves. This is nothing to worry about however, Lizard Squad did the same thing to Sony a while back. It’s just a DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attack. Nothing is happening in the ways of personal information, but what they are doing is basically having tons of phony accounts sign in which overrides the system causing legitimate players to lose connection or not make one at all. This should will be fixed very soon after they launch the attack, by that I mean within the next couple of hours. Microsoft has one of the most advanced anti DDoS systems available, so this problem could be solved before it even happens?

Great post buddy, but rumors going around that Anomyous are watching them very closely, they were discussing in a video they made saying if they did one more attack on any platform, they'd take action and to help the FBI to help track the so called hackers. But yeah, great post man

Yea that video that "Anonymous" made was deff fake like Bullet said Someone got made and raged threw making a fake video you can always just look up the Anonymous youtube offical account thats where they upload all their videos
I could care less about this Lizard Squad. There not taking anything and I'm glad there details were hacked and released.
Anonymous isn't a clan but an idea. Anybody can be part of anonymous, all you have to do is have some knowledge with hacking and anonymity. It's obvious that a group of better hackers (obviously gamers too; fed up with their XBL Fecal Leaking.) got tired of LizardSquad and just decided to put an end to them. I highly doubt authorities will take action though.
