This was done using IC Diamond 24 Carat Thermal Compound between the Die & IHS and also between the IHS & Heatsink. Nand - Stock (No Temp Edit) Fan Speed - Auto Console was sitting on FSD home screen for both fans. Stock Fan: Start Up Temp: ** Reading from: 5/1/2014 12:02:38 AM ** CPU: 47.5°C GPU: 45.2°C EDRAM: 42.2°C Mobo: 25.9°C Unkown: 27 Temps After 20min: ** Reading from: 5/1/2014 12:23:11 AM ** CPU: 55.0°C GPU: 52.5°C EDRAM: 49.4°C Mobo: 30.4°C Unkown: 27 Whisper Slim: The Whisper Slim exceeded the stock fan temp in 3min & it was still climbing but I didn't want to let it get any hotter. Start Up Temp: ** Reading from: 5/1/2014 1:19:27 AM ** CPU: 39.0°C GPU: 35.3°C EDRAM: 33.4°C Mobo: 24.5°C Unkown: 27 Temp After 20min: ** Reading from: 5/1/2014 1:39:28 AM ** CPU: 63.2°C GPU: 60.7°C EDRAM: 57.6°C Mobo: 31.9°C Unkown: 27 The whisper slim was 8.2c CPU, 8.2C GPU, 8.2C RAM hotter on all.. I dont think I will be using the whisper slim because thats 46.76f hotter. I wanted to put these temps in a spoiler tag but couldn't figure out how.

The whisper slim is noticeably louder that stock with the 12v mod. StartUp Temps: ** Reading from: 5/1/2014 7:05:39 PM ** CPU: 34.5°C GPU: 31.2°C EDRAM: 29.3°C Mobo: 22.3°C Unkown: 27 Temps After 11min: ** Reading from: 5/1/2014 7:16:21 PM ** CPU: 39.4°C GPU: 37.0°C EDRAM: 34.5°C Mobo: 23.5°C Unkown: 27 So at stock fan speed & 12v mod the Whisper Slim allows the console to run hotter, Stock fan is a lot cooler at stock speed but they were close with the 12v mod. I would stick with the stock fan unless you just want the leds to look cool. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Going to delid the Corona and remove the IHS and run the same test and see if removing the IHS helps or hurts the temps on a 360. Got The IHS Removed And Only Saw A 2c Drop In Idle Temps, So It's Not Really Worth The Trouble & Risk That You Take Removing It. We Will Test The Load Temps By Playing For A Couple Hours.
