So i just put in a new kv to unban myself and when i power on my RGH it wont boot until i connect my controller which it then restarts and turns on. When it does there is no sound on my dashboard or games. Also when it boots up after i connect my controller it sits on a black screen for a few minutes then the dashboard pops up. If i were to go into dashlaunch and exit my console would freeze. Ive tested taking out my hardrive, different KVs, took out all the plugins and still got the same promblem.
Personally i would try reflashing a new nand image to the console or use the XPG Auto Updater to install a fresh nand image, apart from that if it is an old console eg. xenon/zephyr/falcon it may also be starting to fail and may need a reflow.
Also, make sure you're flashing the correct TYPE of KV there are two types; TYPE1 - Phat Console TYPE2 - Slim Console Which console do you own a phat / slim? And lastly if you own a slim console and have a type 1 KV you can convert it also. After reading your post sounds like your NAND is corrupt/bad blocks, please make a new NAND, do you own a dual nand by any chance?
