Our first look at Call of Duty: WWII's multiplayer was given to us at Sony's E3 press conference and it looks like a really great return to the series' roots. People at E3 can go hands-on with the game but fans sitting at home will have to wait a bit longer.

PlayStation 4 fans who have access to the beta will be able to jump in on Friday, August 25th at 10am PT and can play until Monday, August 28th at 10am PT. The servers will then go offline until the following weekend, it'll start back up on Friday, September 1st at 10am PT and will run until Monday, September 4th 10am PT. The first weekend will be exclusive to PlayStation 4 but it sounds like it'll be open to all platforms on the second weekend as long as you pre-order the game.

Usually, developers open up the beta to everyone near the tail end or will extend the times a bit but if you're really keen on playing this game, you may just want to pre-order to be safe.

Call of Duty: WWII releases on November 3rd, 2017 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
