Sledgehammer games has released some brand new screenshots showcasing their 'New' engine. Sledgehammer have recently done an interview with Edge magazine where they described what they mean by a new engine. Michael Condrey the chief operating and development officer of Sledgehammer, has clarified what the engine is and how it works. “Although what the studio means by ‘new’ in this context isn’t what the internet means when it complains about the old COD engine.” According to Condrey the new engine has been built from scratch however there are lines of the old engines code still in Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare. This is by no means anything new, most studios do the very same thing when building new engines: “We have new rendering, animation, physics and audio systems” To show off these new systems Sledgehammer released some new screenshots which you can see below: Check them out and let us know what you think in the comments below!
O.....M.....G...!!! That looks awesome!... Just hope it's only looks and laggy gameplay, terrible story, and full of crazy bugs. Sledge won't f*** up their chance to steal the show though!... i hope
