But exec plays down Borderlands 3 reports



When one fan asked Pitchford "when are we going to see an Xbox One game from Gearbox", the games exec replied "We're working on next-gen. platforms TBD. We'll probably announce something later this year."

Hours after the message was posted, a number of games publications published stories suggesting the game reveal would be Borderlands 3.





Yet Pitchford was critical of news outlets covering the matter, linking to a Gamespot article and claiming: "Ever wondered how to fabricate a "news" story from arbitrary, disconnected comments and tweets?"
