You can load a seperate profile that's already modded with a save and use the keys there in splitscreen then give them to your other character but it's a serious hastle and you need two controllers. The only way around it i've found so far.
I think that you may have to have a jtag or something.......or maybe you can't have borderlands on the profile
so lets try to find out why this works for some and not other. For the people who did get this to work 1 did you start a new game or use a save? 2 did you have anything else that would have had an effect on the game? IE. borderlands 1 save, Any DLC. 3 are you using a flashed drive, unmodded xbox, or Jtag/rgh? Any of this info could be helpful in finding out how to get this working. This is the second one I have tried and neither this one nor Jackass's "mikes" have worked.
got it working on my jtag with BL2 dlc and BL1 savegames on it. Ive used modio to inject the gpd in my profile i just deleted the old gpd and insert the new one (not replace it) after that just rehash and resign and put it back on my jtag. maybe its working because im using the modded xex with no hash? i dont know. oh and the dlc i used was modded too with just 250 Gold keys but i used 20 of them and after that i injected the modded gpd and got 255 Gold keys and the badass points.
Okay this only works on a profile that has not played BL2 yet. Just tested it on a fresh account and it worked just fine.
Maybe delete your gpd out of profile load borderlands 2 up again then insert the modded gpd? just a theory
yeah uh, can someone come up with a more reliable solution to modding our own gold keys so we don't have to import a GPD. If there was a tutorial on what to edit and how that should work, otherwise there may be something wrong with the supplied GPD? I'm at a loss.
At this time there is no alternate way unless you have a dev-kit/Fusion-dev/Rgloader-dev to mod it in Real time. That is how it is originally being done. The save encryption is being a ass so until that gets cracked no save editor just yet. Also the offsets are not dynamic they jump around like crazy so no trainer has came out yet that is functioning without crashing the console. GPD is kinda iffy if it sticks or not. But before you try always backup your original GPD. For others please wait patiently, the game is a new release and sometimes it takes time and allot of trial and error before a decent Editor is released. But when the time comes BL2 will have its top blown off even more then now.
I was wondering, if i were to try to use this GPD can I get banned easily? I'm a little confused about this because i'm seeing numerous posts about GearBox endorsing modders and such.
ok did some testing and it did work on a new profile. One thing that was weird is with the new profile it would let me skip the intro for a new toon but with my normal profile it did not give the option. So..... im going to go through and delete everything in my normal profile and try it again. edit... still did not work. I removed everything but the account file and the ff file from the profile and still did not work. It still wouldnt let me skip the intro either. weird.
