Im a 35 year old electronics enthousist living in auburn ny, I can't decide if i like the hardware or software aspects more but for sure whatever i dig into i figure out. Ive been doing phone repair with other business owners in this area for the last year but now want to dig into the gaming indestry again. I have done mods to all the consoles on a large scale, I still have all the programers and hardware used. I have devised a reasonably sized data base of technical information from scematics to troubleshooting logs. Im currently very interested in using jtagging for its boundrey scanning purposes and apparently setting up an online server.
Welcome Blake! I would say you should do more RGH (Reset Glitch Hack) because the JTAG method is outdated by a few years.
I'm referring to the phrase Jtag as its original meaning not just its illicit claim to fame Jtag.com the test action group for everything IEEE compliant. But yes I do rgh also
Lol, didnt know you were talking PCB, I have been wanting to get into all that sort of thing too but I just haven't had the time but knowing that kind is stuff would be good for making console mods like LEDs and programmable chips.
I wish I knew more, it's almost like its to easy for me to get, but I do know how to pic program for the led mods, Google gazers fader mod,.
