IGN readers set to attend live North American cinema screenings of Sony's E3 event were reportedly emailed a PS4 code as thanks for their confirmation of attendance. The beta will give players access to two new game modes on a map called High Tension, a source told the site. Following numerous leaks last week, EA officially confirmed that Battlefield Hardline will be shown at E3 2014 on June 9. Dead Space studio Visceral Games is leading development of the shooter, which is expected to launch this autumn, or spring in Australia. The first Battlefield Hardline gameplay video was posted online last week, although the early footage was meant for internal distribution at EA only. Hardline is set against the backdrop of "the war on crime and the battle between cops and criminals". Visceral VP Steve Papoutsis has also said the studio is "adding new twists and turns to the foundation of Battlefield multiplayer". Source: CVG
