Battlefield 1 is getting a patch that'll give it high dynamic range support on Xbox One, Microsoft has revealed. The trailer that announced the new Battlefield themed Xbox One models also confirmed this news, and Microsoft later followed the trailer's announcement with a more formal one. Take a look at the trailer in question below: HDR support will only come to Xbox One S models, and will only work on TVs that support HDR themselves. HDR (in a nutshell) expands the range of contrast and colour, allowing for greater detail and richer graphical quality. Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 and Scalebound have all been confirmed to include HDR support so far. Battlefield 1 launches on Xbox One, PS4 and PC on October 21st.
