Welp, the VR exclusivity wars have begun. While sister site PC Gamer reported that Battlezone was coming to PC and PS4 with VR support in tow, Sony just revealed at Paris Games Week that the Rebellion developed Battlezone will be coming first to PlayStation VR, and it aims to bring back the frantic first-person tank action found in the Atari classic and reboot it for the current generation of consoles. A brief trailer showed the high-octane tank combat and unique retro-styled visuals that we'll be able to expect when Battlezone hits PlayStation VR. Highly stylized voxels rain down from the sky as flying drones and tanks attack you from all angles, and the headset appears to allow you to look freely around your cockpit to keep a bead on your enemies.
