    where is that GAME20000 file, i can't find it even after i checked all the different files on horizon, could it be named something else?

    I'm looking into making a parts editor, possibly a tuning editor (though all my experiments with tuning past three points have crashed the game).

    It's the game progress file. It won't be named GAME20000 until it's actually on your computer.

    i've tried hex editing the AU almost 3 weeks now and it only worked offline, when online it reads as -999,999,999.. i,ve tried fixing this over and over to no avail... the saved info on the acvd server always resets it to the negative number (why?).
    i've also tried the acvd save editor, no luck. but in all the forums i've gone to, everyone says the offset is x0018, but this offset always reads 00 00 00 01 or 00 00 00 00, and when i search for -999,999,999 it's always in other places and sometimes as many as 10 locations... but always at offset x0014 through x0017.

    not that anyone seems to follow any acvd threads anymore, but i do have a question if anyone could be kind enough to answer...
    why is it that if i extract the "GPROG.DAT" file by itself it saves to the desktop as a binary file and can't be opened in any editor to be rehashed/saved??

    I don't understand the instructions. There is no file named Game20000 in contents under GameProgress..

    That seems to be the issue for everyone. Maybe the OP has the Japan version of the game?
