Hi guys I've had a modified console for a while now and was wondering, are XKey's just a safe? They seem a little easier than discs and would most likely cost me less as I'm not the one making the games. If you could share some information, I would be appreciated .
Yeah. I bought mine off Bullet about 2 months ago and its still going great been on xbox live, modded lobbies, Never had trouble with it
A few of the guys have them here and love them, there hasn't been a major ban wave in a while and I assume that the xKey is as safe as a CFW on your DVD drive and burned back-ups
Well, I'd say they are safer. They have two modes, Passthru and Emulation, providing you use Passthru to update the dashboard, and do not use ISO/DVD menu online. You have the same chance of being banned from XBL with any form of hardware/software modification though..
Thanks guys. I've just been looking at them recently and thought it would be cool to get one. It's a shame I'm a beginner with all this stuff :I Heck, I feel bad not being able to get my own games due to the lack of knowledge. I just hate having nothing to do when I'm bored and this would help a lot xD How do you mean, Online? Isn't that how you load the games through a certain viewer of some kind? ( I know you're most likely laughing but I know nothing xD! Laugh away ;D ).
If you get the latest XKEY, make sure you get the Remote, that's how you'll load the games. It's like a little LCD screen that you can select the games on.

I have a Phat. Oh god, erm, I believe I got it around 2008-09. I remember getting it around the time of MW2, I also know it's a jasper model. I'll let you know by the 29th if I'm 100% interested !
Xk3ys are the way to go Way better than having a flashed console, and you can ISO mod with the xk3y and no more burning discs, I have an RGH and I still use my xk3y to play all my games because my HDD is only 60GB but I use my seagate 1TB drive on my xk3y, lol and my xbox doesn't even have the dvd drive inside it.
