sucks to be banned but did you really not expect M$ to go all out on one of their releases. There is still plenty of time for them to give everyone the shaft before release. glad i'm not a halo fan so not much temptation for me. console refresh time for everyone. lol.
I know this makes no difference but Ive been playing it online and just left my xbox on and not been banned yet, and yes I do fully understand the consequences that could cause but after playing nearly all the major releases for past 2/3 year at least a week before release and not been banned once I know this may sound a bit sad but I thought this is kinda the ultimate test to see if I am un-bannable haha, I even was the first legitimate person to get the seriously 2.0 on gears of war 2 before release and my gamertag was plastered all over the internet but I didnt even get banned for that! so lets see what happens.... Come at me Microsoft! haha
People who play this game that EARLY WILL BE BANNED EVENTUALLY no matter who you are especially on a retail console I aint played it yet and dont plan on it till release
Calling BS on this. They are not IP banning peoples XBOX. If that's the case they will be banning a ton of people that may have nothing to do with modded systems.

why not just copy your profile on to a usb.. leave ur live account on one xbox with your legit account then play your account on ur jtag or rgh with out the need of swapping back and forth -- now i read some where dude has 2 diff xbox and diff account that doesnt have halo on it and got banned? are they keeping ip tracks of banned consoles then banning any other xbox that goes online with that ip? kinda sounds stupid if u get a brand new xbox and its banned right out the box cause your ip has been logged as a modifier/early play player
That's what I'm wondering. Because I have played every major game early and I have never been banned. I play offline with a profile that is offline only. I have a retail 360 that I play my retail games on. The flashed Xbox plays backups but I do go online with it as well. But like I said every early release I play on the flashed 360 offline with a offline account. Then when I want to play a back up online I switch to my main account and play online. I've been doing this for 3 years and haven't been banned. What makes this game any different? i have 2 xboxs my retail version with a 60gb xbox hd with my live profile and then i have my rgh with a 20gb xbox hdd and a usb hdd for all my games and such. i then took a 8gb usb drive and put that into my retail xbox and copied my live profile.. now i have 1 copy in the hdd and 1 in the usb i take the usb to my rgh and do everything on that usb.. then when i go on my retail i just leave the usb in my rgh... not once have i loaded my profile i used on the 8gb into the retail xbox to connect to live with.. i do how ever plug the usb in to transfer dlc that i bought from my live profile that is on the HDD not usb
So you have a copy of your main profile on you retail 360 and your rgh 360? I thought you could only move profiles and not copy them.
