Sony has officially revealed that they will be offering compensation for the 5 days outages over the Christmas period caused by Denial Of Service attacks on the gaming network. Sony apologized for the downtime and have offered PSN+ subscribers an extended period of 5 days which will run concurrently to any existing membership. When the current subscription to the gaming network expires, the five extra days will take affect. As well as the five days extension Sony are giving away a 10 percent discount code which will be valid for a one-time discount off a total cart purchase in the PlayStation Store.
