The Federal Communications Commission raised a total of $44.9 billion dollars in a wireless spectrum auction.The auction ended Thursday. The top notch auction for the so-called AWS-3 swath of airwaves significant because it shows how important wireless spectrum's have become in our society. This has become so popular do to the fact that all Internet-Enabled devices that require faster network connections such as Streaming videos or watching a live stream. This also means that the government more cash going into the government's pocket, a consequence that should please lawmakers, the people who authorized the auction and will also authorize the next upcoming auction which will involve TV broadcast spectrum.
