    Nintendo has released the latest firmware update for the 3DS (version 7.0.0-13) and it’s a big update too. After updating to V 7.0, you will have access to Miiverse which is now fully supported on the 3DS. After installing the new firmware, you should see a new icon on the home menu that will allow you to access the online community.

    Today’s update also brings about Nintendo Network IDs on the 3DS. Names registered on Wii U can now be used on the 3DS and eShop balances can be combined. Alternatively, a Nintendo Network ID can be created from scratch.
