    I just followed this tutorial and when I go to install DashLaunch V3.04 (501) I get:

    "DashLaunch cannot be installed
    Kernel 2.0.16202.0 not supported!"

    Where do I get the latest DashLaunch that support 16202?

    "Dash Launch 3.04 does NOT support kernel 16202 right now. Give it some times, the boys on the Dash Launch project will update shortly. "

    Okay... Did this just get posted moments after I asked my question? Strange..

    Okay. Did your update occur sometime after 9PM (UTC-06:00) last night? Sorry I've just been having a heck of a time since Google does not reveal anyone else having this problem.

    Obviously I am new to the 360 hack scene. I just did my first JTAG last week and the tutorial I followed had me install 16197 but (of course) Bastion would not play so I learned about updating the Avatar/Kinnect data and then found myself here to update the kernel.

    If I would've seen the above quoted boldened warning then I wouldn't have even attempted this until 3.05 was out. No bigge, I just thought I must be doing something wrong since I can't seem to find anyone else posting about this issue. Probably because most people have been in this scene for much longer than myself and are just taking things in stride, knowing DL update is on the way as usual.

    Nope. I updated this thread earlier this morning. Not just the warning, but the 16202 build in general. Sorry for your issues man. Just revert back to 16197. Dash Launch 3.05 should be out later today or tomorrow hopefully.

    You aren't finding anything on it mainly because no one really updates their dash until they need to. Personally, i update it when a new one comes out. Another reason is because the experienced owners don't update until Dash Launch has been updated. It's kind of a rule of thumb to make sure everything is out first. You're still learning though. You'll get the hang of it man.

    Added the 16202 Avatar/Kinect update.

    As I suspected. I found this guide last night and I didn't refresh the first page until after I made my original post. So that's why I missed the warning that you added. :)

    Well I updated so that I could install the 16202 Avatar/Kinnect update allowing me to play Bastion. I can play Bastion now so I think I will just wait for the next release of DashLaunch.

    Yes that is what I meant when I said:
    Bad timing is all since I got to experience my first JTAG right when a new kernel/dash was coming out.

    Not a big issue since my JTAG is working great and everything else so far has gone incredibly smoothly and I am loving my new console.

    Thanks for taking the time to reply to my posts and thanks for the excellent tutorial Stanton!

    Bastion should have played without 16202. 16202 JUST came out about 3-4 days ago. NO game has 16202 being required yet. You probably just needed the avatar/Kinect update, since i think that game has avatar awards. Not too sure if it does or not.

    Question is regarding kernel 2.0.16202.
    Since dashlaunch doesn't support this kernel, what is the usual eta for an updated version?
