Well d3 pc isn't d3 console, currently it's not possible to dye armors but weapons isn't dyeble as well even in pc, iv'e tried...
there's no other way of adding bytes than viper's tutorial...

Maybe you hexed it wrongly or the min and max durability are off, have you tried putting a ignore durability loss on it?

Hi marcus havent tried those affixes but i think its possible @skoogra true you cant stock them or they will end up as normal gems i have tried...

For dupe items - account.dat, there's a guide on this d3 section Gold - only possible as i know now is thru hexedit
