The crc error is just because you replaced the orig files with modded ones. so burn that disc remember to burn the .dvd file abgx done for you....

Saves will still work on your updated console all you do is resign them to your IDs as for getting banned there is a very low chance depending...
have u tried booting the console up with out any drive in ?
