Will there be a Xbox One mod/flash in 2014?

I can't see it being as simple but if the smart people can emulate the DVD drive and match it to the motherboard the way it should then maybe you will see some sort of xKey depending on what sort of challenges the Xbox is asking for, hackers are advanced more these days with the technology used in consoles so who knows

i hope so but highly doubtfull at all i think we will see it running a backup disc but who knows only time will tell,

Like ADDZ said a drive emulator would be the best way forward I should imagine.

 

Drive emulation? Maybe. It had better be perfect and never detectable, because as soon as it's detected, online services will be dropped for your console and you will have a very expensive paper weight.

If you have no net connection NOTHING will work on the One. When live is down your xbox is basically just a cable box.
