Yoshida Confirms PS4 Won’t Require Always Online Connection And Won’t Block Used Games

BIG NEWS FOR YOU PS4 GAMERS.

The PS4 will not require an always online connection and, it will not block the use of second hand titles.

This was said back in February, by Sony Worldwide boss Shuhei Yoshida during a round table after the PS4 reveal.

Kotaku also reported this back in February but back then it was all rumours now however it's been confirmed by Yoshida.

Any DRM on used games will be left up to the publisher in question, according to Yoshida.

Hope this clears everything up.

So what do think guys now Sony has scrapped this will MS also do this?

If you ask me YES they should.

If M$ Dont do the same i can see M$ losing out alot of there profit. No one will get one

 

Lol MS won't loose profit. People will still buy the console no matter what

 

alot of people will get one even if it has the 24h connection thing and used game fee

Yes you can for 24h then elegidly you have to connect back to live.

We will see what happens when the console gets released
