BOOOOM! Aurora Messenger — Second Update! The second update is here! This time, I added a small but fun feature that some of you might really like: ❤️ Message Reactions! Now you can react to messages with emojis directly inside the chat. You can: Add a reaction to a message Change your reaction Remove your reaction by selecting the same emoji again See reactions directly on the messages I know it’s not a huge update, but I wanted to make Aurora Messenger a little more fun and interactive! BONUS — Aurora Messenger Windows App! And finally, I also created a Windows desktop application for Aurora Messenger! You can now use Aurora Messenger from a standalone Windows application on PC, while still using the same Aurora Messenger website and service. Aurora Messenger is now available on the web AND as a Windows app!
Great additions! The reactions UI looks clean, and the Windows client is a smart move. Are you planning to add system notifications for the desktop app next, or are you focusing on mobile support?
Thank you! ❤️ I’m glad you like the reactions UI and the Windows client! System notifications for the desktop app are definitely something I’d like to add in a future update. For now, I’m focusing on improving the core Aurora Messenger experience, while keeping mobile support in mind for future development. Aurora Messenger is still growing, so there are plenty of new features planned!
If you want to download the app, it is completely safe. I promise that if you find any virus, you can ask GitHub and RealModScene to remove the content from wherever it was uploaded. Download Aurora Messenger here: https://github.com/Rawad-sm/Aurora-Messenger-web-and-app-for-windows
