Text Tut.

Tools needed:

Vector editor

Inkscape (sudo apt-get install inkscape) (inkscape.com for pc or mac)

vectormagic.com (Can turn standard bitmap into .SVG files)

Gimp or Photoshop (Take any jpeg image or whatever and turn into a .png, save it and use vectormagic.com)

Notepad editor

Notepad++ (pc/mac)

Gedit (sudo apt-get install gedit) (ubuntu/linux)

Real time browser editor

Google Chrome will work best

Firefox with greasemonkey script support as an alternative

Section 1a)
Open your photo editor (Gimp, or Photoshop)
Get your image you want to use and open it up and *resize it to 512x512 pixels*(If you skip this step, your vectored image will pop outside the emblem editor and mess your emblem up)
If you don't know how to resize an image or a canvas to 512x512 without automatic resize due to unproportionate mesaurements, you can use picresize.com

And quickly save it as a .png file formatted photo (best for bitmapping)
Go to Vectormagic.com and follow their userfriendly steps to download your .png file as a vector image.
When it is done turning your image into a vector, it will give you four file types to choose to download as, choose the "SVG" option as this is the only method that will work.

Section 1b)
Open up Google Chrome or any real time browser with an element editor
Navigate to the Emblem editor on R* socialclub.

*IMPORTANT PLEASE READ BEFORE CONTINUING*
You must do this layer by layer, and this can take a bit of time. For each layer of your image, you must add a layer (any object) on the Emblem Editor, which will now be referred to as EE.

Section 2a)
Open up your svg file with your notepad tool of preference.
It should look like this:

Explanation of this coding.
After the <path fill> statement is a hex color code. A hex color code is a 6 digit code that tells a browser how to color a specific block.
When you create an object on r* social club it is default "#000000"
Like I said, you want to do this LAYER BY LAYER, the more detailed the photo, the more layers. For instance someones face is going to take like 10 hours of extreme copy pasting.

Create an object in your EE. A black circle will do.
Right click the black circle and click "inspect element"
You will see a line like this:

Edit the path fill "Hex" code with the first hex code in your SVG file.
Now, you're going to take the d="" code in your svg file.
[IMG]

Copy everything between d="" and paste it into the same spot on the element inspector on Chrome, inbetween the d="".
You must do this for every single layer you have in your svg
For the next layer to be added, you must add ANOTHER object into the emblem editor, you can do all circles, whatever.

Here's an example of a pretty simple one.

Please allow 4-24 hours for R* to take your vectorized image and switch it BACK to a .png and upload it to the cloud!
