Since it is going to take me a while to release my L4D2 mods, I decided I will release one of the most sought after tools among the source modding community, a texture converter from PC format to Xbox format.

This tool runs off the libraries from the Source SDK so please do not separate the tier0 from the executable.
Also keep in mind, this isn't the tool I use, I prefer console applications so if there are any errors let me know, but everyone who has tested it, has had it work fine so far.


How to use it:

-Click browse
-Select your file
-Hit convert!
-And you're done!

After this, a file is made in the same directory as your original texture except it has a .360 extension and is in VTFX format.
Put your custom textures in your materials folder in your zip1.360.zip for L4D2 or zip0.360.zip for TF2.


I can't wait to see what textures packs you guys come up with!

(as for people asking about more converters, I will worry about that later when I have more free time)

thank you. so help me understand. will this convert mods like wallhack and aimbot mods that only work for pc to work for xbox 360. im confused?
