ive had my **** in my old slim (dg16d4s drive ) for about a year with everything working smoothly. i just got a new slim dg16d5s drive 1532 firmware) and want to put that **** on it. i already RGH'd the console to get my cpu key,dvd key. i did what the manual said. 1. create notepad with my cpu key inside and save it as cpu.txt and copy it to root of **** sd card 2. create notepad with my dvd key inside and save it as dvd.txt and copy it to root of **** sd card 3. create a empty notepad with nothing inside it and save it as my firmware number (1532) 4. copy my fcrt_enc.bin to root of **** sd card. YES i made sure it saud fcrt_enc.bin i safely removed sd card from pc. put the sd card in the **** and the remote sayd no firmware found. Any ideas whats wrong. PS. im using windows 8 to copy these files. do you think it have to just save the files without typing the extensions in the filename to save
are you using the correct version of jrunner? J-Runner v0.2 Beta (283) which can be downloaded by clicking the following link. http://www.eurasia.nu/modules.php?name= ... _Beta_(283) also what version fw is your xk 3 y?
Hi, can't really help that well as never used an xk3y but here's the newest J-Runner, there'll be a newer one released soon though and you'll only be able to go up to dash 16537 until then for the RGH: http://bit.ly/K8z3OP Sounds like you done the RGH part fine though. I don't know how xk3y's work or how they flash the drive but could you try using LT+ 3.0 firmware or hook it up to JF if no luck with the xk3y. Just an idea, sorry can't help any more than that.
make sure you use the older version of jrunner that i linked in my post because the newer versions don't create the fcrt_enc.bin in the format needed by the xk3y
