Since it’s release in November 2013, the Xbox One has been gradually improving with regular updates. Via his blog, Major Nelson has announced what improvements are coming to the Xbox One Dashboard this April. Dashboard Preview members can expect to see these changes today in the first wave update, with a second wave arriving some time next week. Improvements in the first wave include: Spoiler Party Chat Improvements: The Party app will now let players know if networking issues or privacy settings are causing problems in broken Party Chat sessions. Game Hub Links: It will now be even easier to view and navigate activity feeds for games. Players will also see the game activity feeds for games that their friends have followed, making it easier to see what your Xbox Friends are interested in. Achievement Notifications: Probably the most useful improvement, Achievements that appear on screen during gameplay will now also show a brief description of what the achievement’s unlock requirements are; saving players from having to open the Achievement application – which has also been improved to load faster, when opened.
