    Check out the XBLSE seller's "exbls" status he said something about manually downloading the update:

    "If your having problems with the new update, try manually putting this one on your hard drive http://www.sendspace.com/file/dabo0c"

    Then I was still having problems and got told to download this one instead:
    http://www.sendspace.com/file/jnkszn

    After that it worked for me.

    good to know that this is working properly again. i know now the guy i paid for my recovery screwed me over cause he keeps saying it isnt working still and three days later here i sit....lesson learned i suppose
