SoulHeaven of consoles.librasoft.fr announced the x360SED v1.0. This chip between the DVD drive and Xbox360 motherboard requires 1 wire and has 1 solderpoint on the Xbox360 motherboard. It will allow you to bypass the new AP2.5 protection in new games (like Fable3) with the new Fall2010 (12611) dashboard and it'll allow you to play multi-player games on several consoles using just 1 disc of the game. The chip is compatible with both the original ('fat') and S(lim) Xbox360 (note x-s: and we assume all DVD models?). The x360SED v1.0 is actually a 'Stealth Eject' chip for your 360 DVD drive. It allows to open the DVD tray without the console really 'noticing' it (or resetting to dashboard) by pressing the controller synchronization button for 5secs. For games that can install on HDD this will allow you to remove the disc once booted and launch it in another console and thus allow to play multi-player games on several consoles with just 1 disc of the game (mostly useful for system-link parties I guess). Instructions for Multi-Console MP: * Install game on your HDD using the Y-menu of NXE * Launch the game from the dashboard * Once launched, press the the controller synchronization button for 5secs. * The DVD tray will open, remove the disc and launch it in another console * Press the controller synchronization button for 5secs again and the tray will close. By swapping discs it will also allow to boot HDD-installed AP2.5 games on the 12611 dashboard (note x-s: doesn't mean it's LIVE safe tho, but AP2.5 games will boot as shown in the video below) on BENQ and Lite-On drives.
