Has anyone tried making a socketed gem and seeing if another gem can be placed inside of it? Or would adding a socket property to a gem by default cause it to corrupt the save data/disappear all together? If it could work, could make an infinite loop of stats on an item as long as the file sizes stayed within reason.
im pretty sure this can be done well at least the socket part of it the only problem is socketing a gem into another gem sure the gem may be socketed but the question is will it show up in the list of things to put a gem into. Now if it does and you successfully get 3 gems socketed into 1 single gem, then the question is will the next item except it and if it does will it mess with any code because the items code length would go off the charts with multiple sockets like that i don't know if that would corrupt the game or freeze it like some other things i've tried in the past with just 32 stats alone. We've already hit 128 stats with gems i really think that's already overkill as is I won't be testing this out due to the fact an infinite loop of stats doesnt seem appealing to me just sounds like alot more headache then its really worth, but the theory is completely sound and check's out in my mind so someone willing to do it could try it. Step1: Make 32 stat 3 socket item Step2: Make 32 stat 3 socket gem with ignore durability Step3: Make 3x 32 stat gems with ignore durability Step4: Insert the 3 modded gems into the 1 32 stat modded gem see if that works. Step5: Assuming step 4 worked now try taking the 3socketed gemmed gem and put it into the 32 stat 3 socket item you made. Step6: Assuming step 5 worked now make 2 more 3socketed gemmed gems and put them in as well. Step7: Assuming step 6 worked now try to drop the item and see if game freeze's if not pick it back up and see if anything changed or if game freeze's picking it up. Step8: If you got this far your almost in the clear the last test is quiting game and try to load that character holding the item if it works then you're in the clear and everything works. GOOD LUCK!
I downloaded the gems save, but they all have the same stats as the legit versions, except they are rare with 1 mil durability. Did I miss something?
keep the gems on the downloded char and pick up the item you wanna socket. dropping the gems and pickin them up again seems to change the modded stats, no idea why. if you drop the item (weapon, armor, etc.,) from your main, pick it up with the one with the gems on, insert the gems, drop it and pick it up with your main again. worked for me! hope this was helpfull
OH! ok I get it, If I socket the gems into the item I want the XP on, I just drop the item, pick it up with the gems character, socket it, and drop it again to pick up with my main. I get it now, thank you!
i try to create xp stuff like you say but i change every value when i put it back to ps3 nothing happend no corruption but no change too
what you said makes no sense need to be explained more clearly what you are doing and what your did wrong all i got out of this is you tried to mod and gem and failed thats all.
I use your gem and of course it work great, but i try to create the stuff with 31x xp per kill but i fail ,i edit hex value but nothing happend and when i re-upload to ps3 nothing change i got my char like if i don't do anything
well unfortunately i don't know what you are doing wrong but i can explain how to do it right. Take a 32 stat rare item like a Black Ring or White Ring. change the Item ID to any gem. the proceed to add lvl reduction stats, xp per kills stats, and 1 igone durability stat like shown below. the above code is what i use for XP Gems remember to PASTE WRITE(ctrl+b) not PASTE INSERT(ctrl+v).
that what i do...i think but anyway never mind i already have 10k xp perkill with your gem so it's enough thank for your answers
i guess he no longer reading this thread ... obsolete topic? :hang3: in the end, the trailer, is just trailer, release date never come... viper pls dont disappoint your fans lol
http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/89185-viperx420s-cky-d3editor-tutorials/ just use the editor and make them yourself its not hard now that the editor is released anyone can do this stuff now. I will not be re-uploading these save's because creating modded gems in this way was the wrong way of going about creating modded gems and would break items rendering them useless amoung other things so we advice creating them from scratch using the editor its fast and easy and anyone can do it just follow the new tutorial videos and you'll be making new modded gems within minutes.
