Did you get the right kind of video card for your motherboard? It should just work right off the bat if you did.
yea its a pci video card for an pci motherboard yea it turns on and work but the second i install its driversand reset it the loading screen of windows freezes and doesnt go any futher it works on safemode and thats it lol
1. what card have you got? link it here if possible 2. what PSU have you got link also if possible and finally what Motherboard and CPU are you running, link what you can I build pc's a lot especially gaming ones.
Give us some info on your card and the version of Windows you're running. Sounds like a driver/software issue to me. If it were hardware, the card wouldn't work at all, or you would have some obvious tell tale signs like graphic distortion. You could try moving your card to a different PCI slot, or making sure it's 100% seated properly. I had this same issue with my Nvidia card. It was a driver issue for me. Try this: Boot into safe mode and uninstall your add on graphics card. Shut your PC down Boot it back up, and disable your on board graphics card Shut back down and reboot Now, let Windows install the "best" driver for your card Then, reboot. If it still hangs, go back into safe mode and uninstall your add on card Try a different driver from the website, using their installer. If you're running Windows 8, your card's manufacturer MAY not have updated the driver to be compatible OR it has a bug, and you're one of the people experiencing it. Also, run through your BIOS and see if you can disable your on board card. That way, when your PC POSTs, the card will be disabled and that will rule out any sort of interference. Note** I'm by far no expert on graphics cards. That's just what i did with my GeForce 6200 running Windows 7. I don't have too much experience with graphics cards, since i don't game on my PC and wouldn't drop more money on a graphics card then i did on my processor. Not knocking the ones that do though.
1 500 watt 2 windows xp X32 or X86 3 zotac gt 430 iv installed in in safe mode didnt work iv installed windows and failed ( didnt work with xp, vista and windows 7) its pci 1 not pci 2.0 or 3.0 and the mother board is m7sua the only thing that seems to work is safemode
Then i'd say it's more than likely a driver issue. Did you try the official driver? An old driver? The newest?
from cd since the website doesnt allow downloads for the card so im thinking its the video card its self im going to be going to the store tomorrw to get a new one
go online grab the latest driver's from the manufacture make sure to uninstall any drivers you have already installed then go ahead and install the new ones.
have you ever used a via sata card for flashing xbox'x that caused me some real trouble with my graphics card
no this is some ones eles pc there 65 lol so they dont know what a sata card is lol but problem fixed tiger direct did tell me its an 64 bit card n wont run on a 32 bit system
