Are you sure you have placed the HD Content correctly in the internal hard drive and are you using FSD? Otherwise I have no idea why the game doesn't work for you... :| Try Booting your console to official dashboard if you haven't done so already and launch the game using xexmenu and see if it works That's the last suggestion I can give for now.
as i told u earlier this isn't 1st time for me to play game like this, i had done already that u have mentioned above but the problem is same, this is the most strange issue i have ever face, hope i will get a solution somewhere..... somehow..... btw thanks for ur time....
Strange indeed. Does it work with or without Title Update? Is the game downloaded or did you rip it from the original disc because problems like what you're having mostly occurs from a bad copy of the game. Were you able to play the game before the issue started and if so, Could be corrupted gamesave maybe.
i have done with or without title update but still the same black screen, may be this is a bad rip i will try with another rip hope it will solve my problem and about savegame so no this game never show any screen in my console so no save in my hdd....
Hi there, I'm new to RGH JTAG... just patched my Xbox 2days ago. So far I can run all of my games besides the new NFS & GTA. How can I extract the HD content manually from the .iso file? when I'm mounting it (via Windows 8) I see Audio, video and update directories. I've got an Horizon.exe file with my Iso2God app but nothing happen when I click on it - and there is no setting related to it in Iso2God. Thanks in advance.
You either need Xbox Backup Creator or 360mpgui (Recommended). Only softwares like those can fully extract an xbox 360 game and reveal all the files. Once done extracting, Use 360 Content Manager (Recommended) as it's useful in showing you which content goes where and what's in the content. No mounting is required, Iso2God is not necessary as Extracted format is better IMHO because it removes the padding from the .iso file thus resulting in a reduced file size however if it's a multi disc game, Using a GOD formatted game would be better if you do not use FSD.
FreeStyle Dash, It's like a Modded Dashboard menu for your RGH/JTAG/Modified console with a bunch of features in it. 360mpgui & 360 Content Manager are somewhat straightforward for some people but try to google tutorials for those if you're still unsure on how to use it.
Dear Meteoracp, First, I didn't thank you yet, so thanks for this tutorial post. Secondly, thanks for helping me out, much appreciated mate! I'm using FSD3 then, hope to find some good article about how to use it extra (besides just playing games over it). Is it better for me to extract multi DVD games using Xbox Backup Creator or 360mpgui instead of GOD? or should I use the GOD in those cases? So far I found a detailed doc about using the Xbox backup content & Horizon for playing the NFS - I'm giving it a try, afterwards will get the other tools you recommended and will try them - my main issue is how can I tell if I'm downloading the latest version of the application or not - I believe that using the latest version of those tools should make my life much easier.
If you're using FSD, Extracted Format should work fine as FSD has a auto disc swapping feature by default. GOD Formatted games should work nicely without FSD and will Disc swap accordingly as if it were a real disc for multi disc games. You don't necessarily need the latest version of softwares, Just get one that does everything you needed it to do. Alternatively, you can google it and search for articles on a recent published date as it may lead you to the latest version of softwares you need.
today i tried with another rip and guess what problem has been solved. i was wondering why the 1st one didn't play then i get the main reason and that is 1st one was truncate dvd and this one is not so the people who try to extract game contents from truncate dvd the game will not run. that all i have gotten from this whole situation. and thanks for ur help...
