It's been a busy week for the Mortal Kombat team with even more announcements for the new PS Vita version of the game. It is an exact clone from the PS3 version of the game including all of the DLC characters from the console counterpart. It has also been confirmed from the official package that the game will also include the Sony exclusive character Kratos from the God of War series.
Creator Ed Boon has also confirmed that the touchscreen will be playing a huge role in the Challenge Tower mode with the Test Your Might and other mini games. One of the biggest and most intriguing features for the game is the ability to do fatalities from swiping your finger. It will make some of the harder combinations easier to execute. The accelerometer and sixaxis motion controls will also be making it in the game but they haven't given any information on how they will be utilized. There will be no cross platform compatibility between the PS Vita and the PS3 for the game, and their will be no fully dedicated touch control scheme for the game.
