Preview This Week on Xbox Live [XBLA & DotW]

There's a whole bunch of stuff to download on the Xbox Live Marketplace this week, although much of it is add-ons rather than games. This week sees Microsoft getting into the Xmas spirit with Kinect Party available for free until the end of the year. Great... If you've got a Kinect.

Elsewhere, you'll find a free add-on for Kinect Party, as well as the arrival of the Forza Horizon Rally Expansion Pack, Battlefield 3: Aftermath for non-Premium members and Xbox 360-exclusive Resident Evil 6 DLC packs. Rage's Scorchers DLC also rocks up over a year after the game's launch, alongside festive costumes for the guys and gals of Dead or Alive 5.

Here's Your Xbox Live Winter Sale Discounts


This week sees the commencement of a festive selection of deals in the Winter Sale, which starts with the first Daily Deal as the countdown to 2013 discounts get underway. Today it's Modern Warfare 3 that's getting the sale treatment, with half off all the DLC and money off the game itself.

Elsewhere, there's deals on a host of XBLA games and DLC, including Joe Danger 2, Wreckateer, RAW, Sonic 2 and more. Games on Demand offers up a couple of treats too, with both Bully and Rock Band 3 available to download at £9/$10 a pop.
