In a new developer diary, the Capcom team behind Resident Evil revelations explains that real world viruses inspired many monstrous new enemies. Director Kazuhisu Inoue said that the reason the franchise’s monsters are so frightening is that we see viruses in action in the real world. I have already had three colds this year but you know what I am yet to spot a single one of these getting around the place. This is the second in a series of developer diaries promoting the port of the formerly 3DS-exclusive title, which apparently harkens back to more classic survival horror tropes than, say, Resident Evil 6.
