Resident Evil 6 skill points editor and weapon times used editor

I've used the RE6 Editor for the skill points, and that's works like a charm, but the kill numbers doesn't seem to be working. I followed the text to a "T", but when I got to check the kill count in the skills area, they remain locked. Even when I get another kill to go over the "actual" count (giving me 1501 9-0-9 kills).

Am I doing something wrong?
