theres loads of guides everywhere mate on how to take your controller apart and also install the led`s
Spray in light even coats.....2-3 light coats will be good....DON'T go slow and apply a heavy coat, it won't dry that great, you'll have drips and it'll look horrible. Just be sure to give the controller shell a quick light sanding prior to painting 200-400grit sandpaper is good...I also suggest using a grey primer if you're painting on a black/colored controller...or else it may may show through the paint. and spray back and forth in a sweeping motion depressing the can nozzle at the end of each stroke, so you don't get paint build up at the end of your paint stroke Brand of paint? I highly suggest using Krylon Fusion paint. or Rustoleum Universal. VERY good paint.and only $5-$8 a can(Canadian prices) I Also highly suggest using a clear coat on it afterwards, you'll be handling your controller a lot, so to protect the paint from wearing off,use clear coat. For Clear Coat I Suggest Tremclad or Rustoleum.
Id recommend XL TEAM on eBay I bought an all black 15 mode stealth modded controller from them on eBay for just 80$ well worth it and did I mention the guide button LEDs are blue? it's totally worth it look into getting one (67 and 4 in black ops with M14 only) xD
Here's mine! It has been in my family for generations and has been handed down from Caveman to Caveman and someday I hope to hand it down to my little Caveboy
