The title tells it all., when I play nba 2k14 my player or just a regular quick game for more then 15-25 mins I get the 3 beeps and the red flashin light ., the weird thing is I can play nba 2k14 online for hours as hours with no problem but I get problems with quick games and my players ., This nba 2k14 is a disc copy., I've also try multiple downloads from torrents and still the same problem. I also get this problem when I'm playing "The Last Of Us" but not any other of my 40+ games Is there any solution to this? I've already tried to restore file and database rebuilt also.
Hi there DaydyamondxD! I feel Your pain, as I went exactly through the same problem! What you are experiencing are the early symptoms of the "Yellow Light of Death" So I would firstly back up all my savedata (I didnt do it when it happened to me) It is curious though as it only seems to happen with some games, (In my case it was Resident Evil 5 and only RE5) My second time was only when I played Valkyrie Profile. Anyways, The advice I got from Friend of mine (an electronic engineer to be precise) was to unplug all cables and plug them back again or check the motherboard for signs of "wiggling" The cables didn't help, and i had no idea how to tighten the motherboard, my friend did it for me and I played happily til I sold that particular ps3!
