Installing Games Takes ages...

    Hello

    I also have the same problem... I placed ghosts into xbox one and it said about press dash button to view installs. So I did and it said 0% then it said about a 1.2gig download so i clicked okay... that was about 20mins ago... at the moment its on 1% and the Disc has stopped spinning...

    Is it downloading the update first? before it does the install?

    Well my install of DR3 after making sure the console was fully updated took about 7-8 minutes to get to a point where it said i could play it whilst it was still installing.

    Sorry for late response. I have done both Disc install and a live store download and both were equally fast for me.

    Disc games will be playable after few minutes of installing; all of them. But a full install (while you start playing) will take between 30 - 45 minutes, not counting the initial update which depends on your internet connection.

    Right now this is normal & no way around it.
