Hello all welcome to my tutorial on how to update your JTAG-RGH to the latest official MS dashboard which was released this morning ( 2.0.16767 ) First of all you will need the latest update files which can be downloaded below along with the new GUI build. UnHidden Content: Download Click Me Next you will need Flash 360 and a USB drive along with XEX menu 1.1 or 1.2. Once you have Flash 360 downloaded plug your USB device into your PC-Laptop and copy it over to your USB. Once copied over unplug it and plug it into your JTAG-RGH. Boot the Xbox as normal to FSD and press the Xbox guide button to bring up the menu and go to file manager. Now you need to locate Flash 360 on the USB device. After you launch Flash 360 you will see a blue screen and something like this on your screen. Now simply press X to create backup nand img. Then press A to start backing up the nand. You will see something what looks like this. Once the nand has been backed up successfully press any button to continue. What we need to do now is press the back button to exit out of Flash 360 and do a quick check to make sure the nand img is on the USB device. To do this simply go to the retail dash on your JTAG-RGH and boot xex menu. Press RB to change the device to USB and you should now have a flashdmp.bin file in that location. If you have this success if not repeat the steps above before you continue. Next step is to remove the USB device from your console and plug it back into your PC-Laptop. Once you're back onto your PC-Laptop extract the RAR file you downloaded above and you will should have all the files listed in the image below. Now open xeBuild GUI. And click SOURCE FILE and locate the backed up nand img you just made on the USB. Once you have opened your nand img it should look like this. Now in kernel version select 2.0.16767 so it looks like this. You now need your CPU key this can be found by booting to Xell or in dashlaunch in console information. Enter this into this box. Now click generate hacked image. Once completed you will this in xebuild if the new nand has been made successfully. Click YES to exit. Now head back to your USB device and BACKUP the flashdmp in a safe location as you need to delete it of the USB. Now copy the updflash.bin file onto the USB and eject the USB and plug it back into your JTAG/RGH. Once again boot the JTAG-RGH as normal and go into the retail dashboard and boot xex menu, and head to the location of Flash 360. It should look like this on your TV. You will now get the same blue screen as before but this time press. A button twice. The start button. Then the A button. This will now write the new nand img to your console and look like this. Once this has completed press any button to continue. And you will be back to this screen. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART SO FOLLOW IT CAREFULLY. Once you press back the screen will countdown to 0 once it has turned off unplug EVERYTHING from the console this means ALL USB’S HDMI POWER AND THE MAIN HDD. LEAVE THESE UNLPGED FOR 30 SECONDS THEN PLUG THEM BACK IN. Once 30seconds are up plug everything back into the console and you should have your new dash 2.0.16767. *** Note please *** If you boot up and your console freezes when you power on,hold the eject button untill the console loads up the dashboard then go to dashlaunch and take the xblse.xex plugin off and save your launch.ini Once the console has booted go into settings and check your dash. BOOM you are now on the latest dashboard 2.0.16767 Enjoy Thanks Darkside :gamer4:
