    save editor you linked is useless, crashes with an error upon trying to open it.. just thought u might wanna know.

    You are supposed to extract the whole save, not what's in the contents tab

    Alright, extracted whole save. I'm pretty experienced with modding 360 saves and pc as well. Anyway, once save editor is launched and I open my save I get a message telling me to load a valid Dead Island save. Are you sure the two formats are the same? I assumed they'd be different what with the inability to import gear along with your character. Perhaps I've overlooked something, but I've gone through the usual steps and even went so far as to try a Dead Island save, which worked perfectly fine.
